Music

Fonthill Primary Academy uses external specialists to help deliver the Music curriculum. We are part of the Earthsong project which is a fantastic partnership with Bristol Plays Music. It involves children learning music through singing and the playing of instruments from experienced specialists. Learning to play an instrument is part of the Fonthill 101.

This year, six children from Year 4 have also been learning to play the violin. This has culminated in a concert at St George’s Bristol which is a world-class venue for live music. This was attended by just five primary schools from across the city and attended by over 100 guests.
