Computing
At Fonthill, we are committed to equipping our pupils with the digital skills they need for the future. We follow the Kapow Primary Computing scheme across all year groups, providing a structured and engaging approach to computing. Our curriculum covers key areas such as coding, digital literacy, data handling, and multimedia, ensuring that children develop a well-rounded understanding of technology and its applications.
Online safety is a key priority, and we teach dedicated online safety lessons every half term to help children navigate the digital world safely and responsibly. We also celebrate Safer Internet Day each year, reinforcing the importance of respectful and responsible online behaviour through engaging activities and discussions.
Through our computing curriculum, we aim to foster creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking while ensuring that all pupils become confident and responsible users of technology.
